Spreading The News About Southern Scottsdale’s Progress
Our city has three different geographical areas, each with their own distinct identity: Southern Scottsdale, Northern Scottsdale and Mid-Town Scottsdale. And although there is a difference of opinion about the exact boundaries of each area, it’s clear that all three contribute to making Scottsdale’s brand “special.”
Residents and businesses in other parts of the city are becoming curious about all the progress they are hearing and reading about going on in Southern Scottsdale. They wonder if it’s real and sustainable.
The Answer: Yes!
A year and a half ago, the City Council made the revitalization of the McDowell Road Corridor the city’s number one strategic priority and almost at the same time SGA was established by businesses and residents in Southern Scottsdale. The public-private collaboration is working.
Last week SGA had the opportunity to describe some of the progress we are making when McCormick Ranch Lifestyle magazine published a story about SGA titled: “Making History in Southern Scottsdale.” The publication reaches more than 10,000 residents in McCormick Ranch, Gainey Ranch and Scottsdale Ranch.
